25 Feb Man in Yuma arrested multiple felony offenses, police still investigating

YUMA — A man in Yuma has been arrested for multiple felony charges. The accident happened around 12:20 in the morning, when police were called to guns being fired around East 1st Street.
Police say, shots were fired in the Alement’s parking lot, and the shooter fled the scene. The man was identified as 29-year-old Jose ORTIZ Jr., who was later found. Ortiz Jr. was arrested and booked for multiple felony offenses.
There were no reported injuries in this case, and one vehicle on scene had reported damages from a gunshot.
Police say this is still an active investigation.
