SAN LUIS — Police in San Luis have been informing the community about color with a cop. On September 19th, at a local Starbucks from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
This family-friendly event helps strengthen the bond between families with school-age children and law enforcement and allows the youngsters to get to know their local police officers.
Coloring with the officers will help the children feel comfortable with the officers in uniform and reduce any fears they may have. This is all done in a fun, welcoming environment. The families will also have the opportunity to raise any concerns or questions they may have.
