Fishing 101 offered at Yuma’s park & rec

YUMA — Yuma’s park & rec have been encouraging the community to come out and learn the basics of rigging a line, baiting, and casting.
With water comes aquatic life that sustains an entire ecosystem of creatures and plant life that are integral to the environment. One of the ways to help save the atmosphere here is to get the next generation of outdoor enthusiasts involved in outdoor activities.
The more people appreciate outdoor activities the more they will make efforts to help save the environment in Southwest Arizona. This area is in constant danger of failure due to a lack of resources and water.
The event is on April 26th to April 28th from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. Ages 8-17 are invited to join, there is a $15 fee.
