YUMA — Yuma’s park & rec have been encouraging the community to come out and enjoy Joad Archery. This 4-day class is an introduction to the USA Archery Junior Olympic Archery Development program.
“JOAD” archers learn the 11 skills necessary to compete in state and national tournaments. Shooting distances 15 yds, 20 yds, and 30 yds. Friday’s shoot will be a tournament with medal awards.
The event is on April 15th through May 27th, only on Saturdays. Its from 10:30am to noon, ages 8-years-old and up are welcomed. There is a $65 fee to join, and for non-residents its $98. Register here.
Prerequisite for this class: Must have attended a beginner class before registration.All equipment provided. Archers may shoot their own equipment after inspection.
