Main Library introduces new programs for March

YUMA — Main Library in Yuma has been informing the community about the new story time programs that would be offered in March. Children of all ages and teens are invited. There is no charge to attend.
Wednesday, March 1st & 15th @ 3:00 p.m.
Barks & Books
Children ages 6-12 are invited to sign up to read to one of our friendly guide dogs, Bella and Ricky! Space is limited; sign up begins at 9am at the Youth Services desk on the day of the program.

ESL en Familia
Aprender inglés con toda la familia, utilizando nuestro recurso digital “Transparent Language.” Esta clase es adecuada para niños mayores de 6 años, adolescentes, y adultos. Cupo limitado.

Storytime
Enjoy stories, songs, and fun activities at our weekly storytime! This program is best suited to ages 5 and younger, but all are welcome. Seating is limited.

Little Artists
Little ones can learn about the fine arts too! This month we will learn about the art of Wassily Kandinsky, then we’ll try to make our own simple art piece in his style! Ages 2-6 welcome. Supplies will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis while they last. Limited seating.

Bring your teddy bear (or other favorite stuffy) and a sack lunch and join us for bear-themed games, stories and fun! This program is best for kids under age 6 but is open to all children under age 12 and their adult caregivers.
