04 Apr Man in Yuma barricades himself from police
YUMA — Police in Yuma were called to a home of South 43rd Drive for a disorderly subject. Police say a man caused a disturbance inside of a home, and barricaded himself possibly with access to weapons.
The man had a Felony warrant issued by the Yuma Country Sheriff’s Department, and a Misdemeanor warrant issued by the Yuma Police Department.
The Yuma Police Department Special Enforcement and Hostage Negotiations Teams were called out to respond. The man eventually surrendered and was taken into custody without further incident.
