13 Apr Student Etiquette Luncheon hosted for students
YUMA — Students from AWC and local partner universities have been invited to come learn about business etiquette principles during an annual luncheon event.
The Student Etiquette Luncheon introduces students to a professional dining experience while providing opportunities to network with area community leaders. Attendees are also instructed in the valuable dynamics of dressing for success. A student-led fashion show further drives home this message.
Business casual attire is required for this event. Students in need of an outfit can check out Andale’s Apparel, AWC’s free business clothing resource, for items such as slacks, blouses, jackets, belts, shoes, and more.
The event will be held on Friday, April 28, from 11:00am-2:30pm in the North Schoening Conference Center at the AWC Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave 8E. Students can register here for the luncheon by April 20, which has a $10 non-refundable registration fee.
Attendees will have an opportunity to enter to win one of two $500 scholarships during the luncheon.
