Two 18-year-olds in Yuma have been arrested on murder charges

YUMA — Police in Yuma have been investigating the case that happened July 2nd, which left Christian Galindo, 31, of Yuma to be shot dead.
On July 2nd, 2023, Galindo was shot multiple times in her home, deputies performed initial life-saving measures until Rural Metro Fire Department arrived and continued to render medical aid. However, Galindo died on the scene.
During the investigation, police found two 18-year-olds that were a match to the case. 18-year-old Jose Flores was arrested for 2nd Degree Murder, and 18-year-old Mia Dominguez was arrested for 2nd Degree Murder, False Reporting to Law Enforcement, Hindering Prosecution, and Evidence Tampering.
Yuma Daily News asked Yuma police for information about the case to see if there was any additional information. Police say they are not releasing further information, the case is still active at this time.
